Announcing “Stormwater Wednesdays” the Center for Watershed Protection 2013 Webcast Series. Sponsored by the Stormwater Coalition of Albany County
This webcast series is produced by the Center for Watershed Protection, an organization well known by stormwater practitioners for their role in preparing the NYSDEC Stormwater Management Design Manual (August, 2010). For this series (see flyer for details), presenters from throughout the nation share cutting edge research, new ideas, field tested suggestions, and practical insights into the front line realities of managing a municipal/MS4 stormwater program or building compliant structural stormwater practices. These eight, live, free webcasts will be shown at the Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center, 195 New Karner Road, from NOON to 2pm, on the following dates: 2/13; 3/13; 4/17; 5/15; 6/19; 9/18; 10/16; 11/20.
The webcast series has been purchased by the Stormwater Coalition of Albany County as part of their public education and outreach program and is open to the public. Those individuals implementing Clean Water Act regulations (engineers, landscape architects, contractors, planning/ZBA board members, and municipal stormwater staff) and members of the public interested in protecting water resources are encouraged to register today for one, some, or all of the webcasts!
