Join the Village of Green Island, Stormwater Coalition of Albany County, and Riverkeeper for a Hudson River shoreline cleanup at Hudson River Park for the 11th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep.
Volunteers will meet at the North end of River Park (200 Hudson Avenue, Green Island, NY 12183) near the intersection of Hudson Ave and Tibbits Ave. Parking is available in the former Ford’s Parking Lot – 75 Tibbits Avenue, Green Island, NY 12183
We ask all Sweep volunteers to also bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, and a face mask, work gloves and hand sanitizer.
This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with adult supervision.

*IMPORTANT! To ensure the safety of volunteers, Sweep Site Leaders, park staff, and our communities, we ask that volunteers adhere to the following guidelines:
- Volunteers are required to pre-register for Sweep, and bring their own masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and water.
- All participants and Sweep Leaders from different households must wear masks when closer than 3-6 ft from one another.
- Sweep Leaders should maintain a distance of 15 feet and wear masks when providing announcements to volunteers.
- Volunteers should not participate if they have ANY signs of illness or if they have potentially been exposed to COVID-19 within the previous two weeks.
