The Stormwater Coalition of Albany County, New York has two job openings! The GIS Coordinator is a full-time, 40 hr/wk position with benefits. The Coalition Stormwater Program Technician is a part-time, 20hr/wk position where the Technician provides stormwater services for four member communities (City of Cohoes, City of Watervliet, Village of Menands, and Town of New Scotland). The Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District is offering 4 Hr E/SC NYSDEC approved training. See flyer for cost and registration information.

The Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District is offering the NYSDEC approved 4 hour Erosion, Sediment Control and Stormwater Training over multiple dates (August 18 and August 28, 2020). Regulated MS4/municipalities must file with NYSDEC an Annual Report which describes progress over the past year implementing requirements named in the MS4 Stormwater Permit. Prior to finalizing the report, a DRAFT Annual Report is made available for public comment.

Comments can be submitted using the Coalition website, by email, phone call, or by contacting local municipal stormwater staff (see Member pages). If you would like to share comments about the annual report at a public meeting, contact 518-447-5645.

This joint report includes individual reports from the Town of Colonie and Village of Menands.
